We are Lifeline Productions — an independent theatre company creating and developing new work for live performance. Founded by Matthew Jones, Kieran Lowe and Joanna Gent.
MATTHEW JONES
Writer / Director / Producer
Matthew is a drama graduate of the University of Portsmouth and has spent many years acting, directing and producing theatre in the community sector. His acting credits include Cosi, The Last Quiz Night on Earth and Joseph K, while his directing work includes award-winning productions of My Boy Jack, Flare Path and the locally written Duvet Discourse.
Alongside his theatre work, Matthew works as a Nurse Practitioner, bringing extensive experience of people, relationships and real-life stories to his creative projects. As co-founder of Lifeline Productions, he is passionate about developing original theatre that is engaging, thought-provoking and rooted in authentic human experience.
KIERAN LOWE
Performer / Producer
Kieran has extensive acting experience across a wide range of principal and ensemble roles. His theatre credits include Hay Fever, Party, September Tide, Holes, Baggage, Perfect Nonsense, Joseph K, Ben Hur, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, Labour of Love, The Railway Children and Consent.
Recognised for strong characterisation, versatility and emotional depth, Kieran brings a collaborative and audience-focused approach to performance. As a co-founder of Lifeline Productions, he is committed to creating theatre that tells compelling stories and connects with audiences through honesty, humour and humanity.
JOANNA GENT
Assistant Director / Producer
Joanna has many years of experience in community theatre as both an actor and director. She has performed with organisations including Hunt Theatre, Felsted and the Mercury Theatre, Colchester, and has directed and produced numerous theatrical productions.
In addition to her community theatre work, Joanna has worked professionally as a director, including directing actors for Yellow Coat Theatre Company at The Glitch in London. Her recent directing credits include award-winning productions of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, Labour of Love and The Railway Children. As co-founder of Lifeline Productions, Joanna is passionate about creating theatre that inspires conversation, challenges perspectives and brings people together through shared experiences.
